Jessica Howard is a 2015 inductee to the USA GYMNASTICS Hall of Fame. She was the three-time Rhythmic Gymnastics National Champion, Goodwill Games Bronze Medalist, World Championship Finalist, and served on the USA Gymnastics Board of Directors as an Athlete Representative. In addition to her distinguished career as a gymnast, upon her retirement Jessica also performed on Broadway, toured, and has worked with USA Gymnastics as a consultant to help prepare their National Teams for World and Olympic competition. Jessica received her early training in Jacksonville, Florida, but later split her time between Sofia, Bulgaria and the US Olympic Training Center to prepare fully for her international assignments. Jessica began her career in ballet, and continued to train in the Vaganova style with her Russian and Bulgarian coaches until her retirement from competition in 2003. She currently lives in New York City, and has worked with Complexions, Ellison Ballet, Gelsey Kirkland Academy, and SLK Ballet, and also works privately with dancers and athletes in advanced training programs. Rebecca Tsivkin is a graduate and licentiate of the Royal Academy of Dance in London, and is an Associate of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD). Her RAD training included a 3-year, in-depth program that covered Ballet, Anatomy/Kinesiology, Dance Pedagogy, Child Psychology, Labanotation, Character, Modern, and Dance History. Over two decades Rebecca has taught ballet in universities, private dance studios, and company schools. Her students have gone on to attend advanced training programs in such places as the School of American Ballet (SAB) and the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theater (JKO), and to dance in professional companies such as Ballet Austin, Sacramento Ballet, and BalletX, among others. Rebecca was on the teaching faculty at American Academy of Ballet, where she was also the executive coordinator and international judge for the Performance Awards program under the direction of Mignon Furman. In addition, Rebecca was the Head Children's Instructor at the Gelsey Kirkland Academy, and has guest-taught across the United States and internationally. Rebecca is currently on the faculty at Ballet Hispanico, teaching in both the General and Preprofessional Divisions.
